What happen to Streamyx since 1st Dec? Bandwitdh from 9am till late midnite so terriable http and ftp, youtube, rapidshare, megaupload sendspace slow like hell

Latency problem, could be on your end or could be streamyx messing up your port.

Call them, ask them to reset port.

If problem persists, it could be some network problem in your area or your phone line physically damaged.

so,what happen on previous days?

Not sure what the problem was just now since I wasn't home all day, but youtube is still 'throttled' for me. Both streaming and downloading are capped at 20kbps. That AAG thing still under testing maybe, plus the hoo haa about HSBB recently maybe affecting things a 'little'.

I still suffer from lag spike despite many had claimed that their speed is returned to normal.

I switch off our router around 1-4pm because of heavy rain.. while wait the rain to stop, I change my network card to newly bought wireless pci adapter.. when back online, i thought that adapter not good coz download speed can't go more than 20kbps.. but when i'm using back cable, still the same o__o

and right now still slow for every website, ftp, direct download, streaming.. JB area >_>

It's been very bad for the past couple of weeks but impossibly bad in the last few days. I keep having to refresh a page numerous times before it will even load. It is the same both at home (Bayan Lepas) and office (Georgetown). To say that I'm frustrated is the understatement of the year. Streamyx services have consistently deteriorated despite the "upgrading" work.

I MAKE A CALL TO TM AROUND 3AM THIS MORNING. HE TOLD ME NORTHERN AREA IN MALAYSIA WHICH PART OF (PERAK, KEDAH & PENANG) GET AFFECTED BY BANDWITDH ISSUE SOME BROWSE IN SLOW AND SOME CAN BE CONNECTED BUT NO HOST AND DNS.

JUST NOW SOMETIMES AROUND 6AM THE NET HAS BEEN RECOVERED NORMAL.

Why all CAPS lol? Btw if only the northern region affected by bandwidth issues, why in the hell that some of my friends at KL & JB still downloading file at RS at 2~4kbps speed? =.='
