stealth mode is just low down the speed and power, i tried benchmark using stealth mode in 3d mark 06, the score get half of the normal score....

try to find a installer and reinstall it, sometime it might happen due to this is new windows, somebody happen to Window Live messennger suddenly not responding.

you can try the new bios that had been release.
if u say u cant boot up, did try change the setting in the bios?
Example Advance option , DDR-3 voltage? RAm frequency? if u do? pls change back to default, those configuration is for Core i7 920XM only.

i did a full stress on 1cpu only, "1 CPU only", seems that our Core i7 720QM doesnt full blast to 2.8Ghz, below picture shown....






After testing(this laptop will throttle when Both GPu and CPU full load(CPU no need full load also will happen)

wat i can tell u is, Dell laptop having techical problem due to the throttliing problem, for XPS studio 16 with core i7 also having the same problem for throttling.

After u flash the bios, the laptop will restart, then above picture will appear.....

guys, go get a 220W or 250W AC adaptor to prevent from throttling problem. for those who has problem on starting it, after flash the bios should be ok.

all adaptor come with 19.5v comfirm compactible. just the Watt different wont spoilt ur laptop some more make ur laptop more stable, and full speed to 2.8ghz, u can find out that ur CPU never hit 2.8ghz 1, once u change it have better power, then ur laptop should be full performance
