Aiyo....
Cannot work as in zero response?
Maybe the connector inside wasn't plug to the comp.
Best to call DELL to rectify it....
I hope ur problem is like mine whereby its just a minor error which can be rectified over the phone.... hmm.gif

The keyboard is working pretty fine outside of gaming. So i don't think is the connector issue. During gaming, only the arrow keys is responding, others not at all. Anybody experience this b4? icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

I have it too, just call 1800-88-1306, get your self prepare for the express service code and service tag located bottom of your alien. You will need it during the call.

I just called Dell, and they are sending technician to fix my keyboard. Hopefully by then would be fixed. brows.gif

get a CD RW better, u can rewrite  and reburn

@angleheart---> what is ur Keyboard problem?
I found that my multimedia key (Fast-backward key) is not respond correctly after testing with its diagnostic tool.

The major key failure is with the ENTER key where it does not response during game.

I found out something that, the ENTER key is actually map to numpad's ENTER which is incorrect!!

holy crap... my enter key dont work on NFS shift!! any solutions?? sad.gif cannot press enter to go into game menu.. wth... but i can press enter outside on desktop..

Haha, same like my problem. The enter key is map to numpad enter during game is really weird. I even call up Dell, they sending technician to review my case next week, but i guess the result would be the same.

FYI, the enter key is not working for all games that doesn't support numpad enter. As for NFS : SHIFT apply the new patch, as it would have the mouse support. So you may enter the game, but for game like Street Fighter IV then, have to use external keyboard else you will never able to enter the game menu, until Dell comes up with a solution.

I guess all these only happen on m15x not on m17x as m17x got the number keys. smile.gif

Added on December 20, 2009, 1:49 amHow many people here flash to the new A02 Bios?
You guys burn the .iso to a CD-R then boot with that?
Improvements?
*
Yeah, I updated to A02 too.

Touch pad performs much better.
Shut down / power off without any issue (Sometimes the Alien attempts to restart although u press shut down correctly)

But too bad, it does not solve the enter key and numpad issue.

Hey guys, if you wan the m15x enter key issue solve, then please call Dell support to escalate this issue to top level. smile.gif

Dell technician do drop by my place to solve this issue, however the problems remain. At these moment, I'm only able to escalate this issue to 2nd level only. sad.gif

It is ridiculous that the return key act like a numpad enter. You not only have problem with games but problem with any applications as well. mad.gif mad.gif

GUYS! You really need to call DELL regarding on the ENTER key issue. Dell told me is not an known issue yet here in M'sia, so they won't put this at high priority to solve this problem.
