hahaha it works good!! connect my pendrive + kb + iphone carger and mouse there.. then connect my sound card and this cooler directly on my aw, so i left 1 more space to spare.

i think the browser may lagg if u using the intergrated graphics.. uve changed back to discrete graphic when u connect to AC adapter?

Nice cooler pad you got there. How much u bought it? I'm guessing that it suits the aw just nice rite?

around rm110 for that cooler.. yes. fit just nice but the AW is bigger slightly abit. i bought that cooler for the USB hub only.. cooling wise i dun think it help much as the fan is not that strong. but anyway im happy with my extra 3 usb hub. hehe

U2410 is a monitor with new panel, doesnt like the alienware using the old LCD panel(some more selling expensive)

Right click on "My Computer"---->propertise(it will show ur score and bla bla bla)-------->(Device manager left top corner)-------->click on network edaptor-------> right click on NVIDIA nForce 10/100/100 Mbps Ethernet--------->propertise------->Advance tab--------->Device sleep on disconnect------->change to disable

anyways, i juz encountered my 1st problem. when playing C&C 3 kane's wrath, i cant press spacebar when writing down my strike force team name. but it works fine when i'm typing in network game.

bro~ ive discovered the problem.. i disable the ipv6 loop and tunnel through registry.. and disable the Microsoft ISATAP tunnel.. then its all good....



btw really remove a?? if u use the FN+F2, will it be same as good as removing the batt? except inserting batt can act as UPS...

Oh, I forgot to mention a problem with my M17x, fn+F5/F6 will not work sometimes. Anyone else got this prob?

You guys have ever updated the NVidia driver for the GTX 260M from DELL Drivers and downloads on the support page? I was told to do this cos I have encountered 4 times while playing RE5 and Batman Arkham Asylum that my screen FREEZES while dialogue is going on, NEXT THING is a BLUE SCREEN Appearing saying 'Windos has tried to restart the Display Driver but failed, Check hardware driver etc...." and then the whole system reboots, Prompt asking if I want to starts windows in safe mode or normal, and they when windows starts, a small popup saying WINDOWS has just recovered from an unexpected Shutdown... WHAT GIVES? ARGH!!!
Will installing new driver update for the NVidia work? So many problems,.... I wonder if the M15x can really take the gaming? Or does the hit affect the GPU?

Well. I have no probs so far. Playing dragon age for 6 hours. Touch wood. Now i'm trying red faction guerillas which is a demanding game in terms of its physix effect and so on.

I'm using the 186.12 driver from dell's page. So far, no prob with it whatsoever even with overclocking. Which driver are you using now?

Well I seem to be the unluckiest amongst all. Damn. I was thinking the same thing too if the graphics are demanding on the chip, that not enuff power is supplied to it and it restarts the Lappie? Hmm.... DELL Asked me to install the new driver and see.

Well, Im not sure what driver version is mine, but the DELL Support told me to update it to the newest 186.47 for the GTX 260M for the M15x. Im not sure if this problem applies to the M17x or not.... but thanks for the reply ....

Ouh, come on. Be fair to the M15x, its not that bad. Maybe it's just the QC of Dell giving out faulty hardwares. just my 2c though.
