Nope i just brought the razer 17" sleeve which fits the m15x perfectly.

how much for the razer sleeve bro? Fit with the 9cell batt too?

Its RM89, bought it at modernopc. Mmmmm i don't think it will fit with 9cell batt attached coz mine is just nice fit with a 6cell. But you can try it first though.

I only got the command prompt screen when I was updating my BIOS. After the BIOS Update, there will be the black screen and the phoenix Securecore thing and prompts me if I want to update the EC to the new 0.96? then click 'y' or 'n' ...

Never had a message that states my AC Adapter is not the recommended one like how yours is.....

I did my BIOS and EC update yesterday. Then today discharged the lappy by pressing the power button for 15secs without the battery or ac adapter connected. Then connected battery and used untill critical and auto shutdown. Finally plugged in power to charge and ON the lappy. Midway thru I took out the AC and the lappy runs on batt only which prior to my BIOS update was not possible. Hence Its safe to say my problem is solved....

tht is just....uh yer ac adapter is not plugged in or its not plugged in properly.....

cannot be.. becos im running on adapter alone. if i didnt plug in properly, means it cant on right? i took off my battery to prevent it from overcharge. hehe

so does that means u have experience it before on your lappy grease?

Mayb wat grease said is true...u check ur invoice see..wheter ur adapter is 150W or nt...if nt then u should call dell...

is G51VX-A1, not G50. yup M17x coming, picking it up. will post picture and d some benchmark. prepared QX9300 for my M17x d. then everything will like greesmonkey d...... maybe SSD will add on it......

any people problem with upate the bios though the EC, type in "DFLASH EC_W670.096" will solve ur problem

Bro, i updated my BIOS but didn't type in those. What is it for and how and where does it prompt me to type it in?

Some people might having this problem.....
After u flash the bios, the laptop will restart, then above picture will appear.....

yes, I encountered that. So I turn off the pc, let it restart, then run the BIOS check to see if BIOS updated and EC updated? Then RE-Run the BIOS Flash 2ND time, this time both went smoothly and update complete...

Hey guys, if you wan the m15x enter key issue solve, then please call Dell support to escalate this issue to top level.

Dell technician do drop by my place to solve this issue, however the problems remain. At these moment, I'm only able to escalate this issue to 2nd level only.

It is ridiculous that the return key act like a numpad enter. You not only have problem with games but problem with any applications as well.

my problem wth the battery took a different turn today...
Just thought I would try booting up with battery so I unplugged the AC Adapter and ON the Lappie. Upon seeing the Lappie start, I plugged in the AC right away. I waited for the ALIEN LOGO to pop up but it didn't yet I see the ALIEN HEAD Power button is processing stuff. My screen still remained blank when to my HORROR, I heard the Windows Startup sound which prompts you to key in password or facial recognition. MY SCREEN WAS NOT WORKING.

I Force shutdown and restarted 3 more times and no changes, screen still blank. I took out battery and used with only AC, and restarted 2 times only to be able to view the screen... Damn, 2 issues for me now dy. So sad.... CALLED DELL To report this to add to the battery Issue which they have yet to send an engineer to my house to do..... Sigh.....
