According to this review: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Asus-G...ok.22357.0.html

It seems that the gtx260m on this laptop is lower clocked than the M15x wor. Still want? tongue.gif

Added on January 2, 2010, 3:03 amPerhaps every alienware owner knows that ALIENWARE m15x does not come with hdmi port, and i just did a search, and i found recent ALIENWARE m15x order has included display port to hdmi converter as what is discussed on http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?p=5620985

Does anyone here get the display port to hdmi converter from dell, or anyone tried to request dell to send the converter as compensation?

asus cheaper than alienware meh....
alienware m15x rm6599- i7 720qm,gtx260, better cooling system, 6gb ram ddr3,500gb harddisk, keyboard can change color,2usb, 500gb harddisk, no bluray
asus g60j-rm7999- i7 720qm,gtx260, bad cooling system,4gb ram ddr3, got bluray la, 640gb harddisk la, better touchpad la,4usb

alienware seems cheaper...

Ours is pre-installed with the new one. Check the date of the "new" version and ur previous version. it's only 'new' to the M17x. smile.gif

IMHO refund is the better choice, i have lost faith to DELL, see how many alienware owners here are claiming they received faulty alienware, go for asus la, lolz, u are so lucky u get some excuses to ask for refund, dun miss this opportunity ya, haha
