Lets say we happen to be travelling and have the notebook with us but without a power socket in site, and we need to surf but make the 9cell last longer... from FindingScreemo's experience, Is it only safe to use StealthMode till batt is weak instead of critical before pluggin in power? |

But you can set the system how much it consume when on adapter & battery. example like the brightness level & display setting. |

Yea, there's a zap on thingy to hold the laptop in place. To put the M15x, you gotta 'overwork' the strap if you know what i mean. loli wish i could get my hands on orion but the price is out of my budget. |

You're in the land of "revenge of the fallen"... its up to you bring the 'fallen' (M17x) back to life. hahaha. kidding bro.i can't talk much about M15x since we are very different in term of hardwares It seems like the M15x is getting more mainstream, and more sales for sure. The sizing and the weight I guess. |

For me its the price which is the main call, and then weight and size. If we all had the though, we'd prolly have a M15x to bring around and a M17x at home
Well, I tried to get the M17x, But with the budget I had, I could hardly afford a good CPU to couple with an SLI GPU.... :/ |

I wanted the M17x, but seems like it's overkill for me, the specs and the weight. lolWell, I tried to get the M17x, But with the budget I had, I could hardly afford a good CPU to couple with an SLI GPU.... :/ |

QUOTE(julchin_09 @ Dec 14 2009, 02:54 AM) professionally speaking, pimping your M15x until the max still can't beat M17x.and with that amount to money, you are looking at very decent specs of M17x already. why? because i7 itself is already overkill. but still, size is one of the main factor why people prefer M15x than its brother. if you saying M17x is too heavy, so do your M15x. it just ~2kg lighter |
