This is freaking depressing. One minute it's "system back to healthy supply" and then hit with more "parts shortage"? Get your game face on, man! Bungling up what could possibly a hit product is not the way to start, Dell! EDIT: Anybody plan to use the M11X to watch Blu-rays? I'm still trying to source out places to get this drive:- from Asus. Scoured Taipei for it, later found out that Asus manufactures products that are not stocked in Taiwan, only for export. This drive is one of them. The requirement for me is that is has to be USB powered only, and has to play BD. USB powered DVD drives are a dime in a dozen these days. Checked the Order Status page, still stagnant at "Order Received". SA has been informed via email, if there is no development past that current phase on the Status page by today's working hours end, I'm bailing out. Too much aggravation, and uncertainties for me to deal with, just sours the whole experience.

Wooooooooo Hooooooooooooo.... Dell just called me and said that they will be delivering my Dell Alienware m11x next Wednesday (17 Feb). Damn, but I am outstation during that time, so I ask them to send next Saturday, instead Really really anticipating the invasion. I bought SU7300 Genuine Windows® 7 Ultimate 64bit 4GB Dual-channel 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM (2 x 2GB) 500GB 3 Years Complete Cover AND Dell Alienware OptX AW2210 with 5 years warranty. Very excited.
