R2 is the newer version that equip with latest processor - i5 & i7

that RM 6,999 is one in million promotion that you gonna get in your life

better grab it before the promotion ended

Asus G73JH-A1 also look incredible in spec wise and it's cheap.
8gb ram, i7-720m, 5870 ati, rm6*** something plus shipping from USA. (from xoticpc)

G73JH is one of the greatest competitor to M17x right now, especially for people who didn't put appearance as their choice.

nope. RM 6,999 is R1 version - the one that use mobo for C2D.

sadly changing processor is not supported by Dell Alienware Malaysia. not yet, maybe.

and if you choosing the one that quoted RM 6,999 and want to change to i7, the answer is more to NO, because it involve changing the whole mobo too.
