Bios updates aren't needed unless you're laptop has a problem..

This was adviced by Acer as well, only update BIOS if you have problems and technicians have give you the GO to do so

hi Eugene already admire m11x see on your bottom signature already u put it future device. I also wanna get one for my wife :. Then it will complete for alienware family.. Then do u think dell will bring this item to malaysia. maybe dell will not to bring because if they bring it.. no one will buy Dell XPS

Agree, that's why i'm still with the 'outdated' BIOS.

I think it will be here. In a month or two months time? Hopefully they won't make M11x being only available in the US region, highly doubt that though.

Heehehehe.. Im still waiting to see its initial release and hopefully no such extreme problems

Then dell say wat...still gt warranty to u?

probably need to arrange for a motherboard replacement, technician will come for service by tomorrow, and of cos the warranty is still valid, u can make a google search, see how many m15x owners are making noise there for refund and replacement, and some of them are very angry for that... if Dell is not going to reponsible for that, i cannot predicting what is going to happen, imho, bios update is necessary as it fix all the drawbacks from the previous bios, and this was the mistake by Dell and they have pulled the previous bios version and replace it with A02 now on their website, and it is not logic saying we are only eligible to do the bios update when we are instructed.

This one is totally Dells problem with the BIOS itself LoL.. i saw it in NBR.. sad case..

I agree. I think if they can put it up there, means that the BIOS Should be stable and not conflict with the mobo .... its an error on their part. Thanks god the BIOS A02 Works fine on my system and I don't need an update for the moment.

yes, please don't try to flash your BIOS to A03. seem like got issue as the website already reverse back to A02.

Alright, my loyalty to Dell has dropped heaps since I bought the AW . How can they upload updates that will brick a system
