QUOTE(bob_afdlin @ Oct 4 2010, 11:43 AM) sure boh QUOTE(-kytz- @ Oct 4 2010, 12:35 PM) NEX3 is not a DSLR because it doesn't have a mirror inside but you do get DSLR quality due to the APS-C sized sensor, commonly found in DSLRs Mind you, NEX3's control sucks big time. There are hardly any buttons for dedicated control like aperture, shutter speed and ISO and the menu system isn't any of DSLR standards. This EVIL camera is targetted to those upgrading from a PnS camera who wants better picture quality but retaining the usual menu system/simple button layout. Thus, IMO those cybershot shooters wouldn't find it that hard but for manual PnS users like me, it's a definite NO NO In conclusion: Get it if 1)You want DSLR image quality and ISO performance 2)You want a compact sized camera which somewhat fits into your pockets(16mm pancake lens) 3)You want the similar menu system as those PnS cameras, button layout somewhat similar without those confusing dedicated buttons thanks for advice, really appreciate that , but how about the nex3 flash thingy? do they provide external flash or have to buy it?

QUOTE(ametrine @ Oct 28 2010, 05:46 PM) Type of camera/lens/accesories : Point n Shot Budget : RM2000 Your Location : KL Preferable brand : No Type of photography u want to do : Landscape or Portrait Any specific models in mind? : No Any specific features u want? : 1. Need something that is easy to use and not much manual setting need to be change for different situation. Coz gonna be use by newbie most of the time. 2. Portability. Not too heavy and can be put in pocket. P/s: I have go thru recomendation here and most member will suggest Panasonic Lx5. But I don't like the camera cap thing and I read some place that it seems quite easy to lost. So any other suggestion beside Panasonic Lx5 if you ignore.dare not trust samsung, then buy canon powershot s95 lo, cheaper and smaller with capless somemore
