Guys, i need some opinion,

i recently started to have this thing about DSLR cameras.. actually every since i tried out my friends nikon camera and i feel like getting one.

but, for starters should i get a second hand DSLR camera?? but my budget about RM1k. what do you all think???

i am really newbie in camera stuff..especially DSLR..
