My first choice would be 500D but 450D is much cheaper and from a lot of review there isn't much of a difference in terms of picture quality between the two. 500D does have video capabilities but i think i can forgo that for sumthing much cheaper..but still it is tempting..any advice? save some buck by buying 450D and upgrade lens or buy flash or go with the latest 500D?

thanks for all the advices. i need another advice but unsure if this is the proper thread..anyway, i want to know about filters, what brand available, what type of filters should i buy and what is the price range? i had read about UV and polarize filters and how it is used but i would appreciate if sumwan can educate me more.
