Budget : RM700 max...if only critically needs, then stretch budget a bit more

Preferable brand : Panasonic, Nikon
Type of photography u want to do : family's event, vacation/scenery, especially night event (dinner, stage performance), collectibles
Any specific models in mind? : nope so far
Any specific features u want? : Anti Shock/Image Stabilizer/Face detection
Others : hopefully less editing using Photoshop etc
recommended earlier for Lumix FS15
however, heard some reviews about its weakness in night mode....
