hi, i am another newbie looking forward for my very 1st DSLR..very confusing to go for Nikon or Canon

Preferable brand : Canon 450d, 500d or Nikon D90

after reading thru thousand of reviews, recomendations, debates, arguments i almost finalised myself to get a canon 450d kits which i believe best suit my requirements as a newbie and can save a little bit since the 450d price reduce substantially (approx. RM2300) instead of D90 kits (approx RM4000) different by RM1700, albeit the D90 offerd a better 18-105mm lens.
what halted me from my earlier decision? Just have a image quality comparison in "Image Resourse", i compare canon 450d, 500d & even 50d with D90 by "New Indoor (INB) 400" image, SHIT!!! maybe my eye got problem ...Canon hands down to Nikon easily, D90 looks picture look more stunning, detail, better light tone, color tone..
is that any reason why?

hey bro, i m a beginner, just narrowed down my options into this 2 camera. The above is about the same price but if i go for canon i ll get a less capable body but more flexible zoom lens wheres Nikon will give me a better body with shorter zoom lens, do u guys thinks 18-105mm is enough for normal outings n holiday use. Which 1 should i go for?

hi gen, i m in a real dillemma! coz i oledi prepared for this weekend to buy my very 1st DSLR canon 500d but not sure wheter is fortunate or unfortunate canon annouce 550d couple of days ago with so much additional features. Shit Shit Shit! what shd i do now??? please help bro......

i wish the D5000 have built in auto focus , this is really a big drawback tht stop me immediately from considering this cam. no doubt the IQ is very impressive but my future choice of lens will be very limited even a basic prime lens cost me RM800+ or i hv a very deep pocket

I still wondering y 550d so fast come out? the 500d not even a year! i checked the dpreview their anouncement date is March-09, o tot the 500d is selling like hot cake..

sidetrack abit....pentax Kx seems very impressive 2 any comment?
