Any specific models in mind? : fuji s1500, F200exr, any other suggestion?
Any specific features u want? : manual control, good IQ

i am the one who also asking this question to myself too but i think the reason is,
from review, f200exr>f70exr but both pwned by lx3 and lx3 pwned by s90 in low light condition. While targeting the low light mkt, both fuji are at the bottom of food chain. so i think that is why nobody recommends it

have some dilemma, hope can hear some opinions from u so that i wont regret in the future by making the wrong choice.

1) if i do not wish to buy more lenses(upgrade), does that mean i would be better by sticking to premium compact?
2) how about the cost of maintaining a DSLR?
3) is portability the main issue of dslr?
4) how are the reactions of ppl when u point ur dslr at them compare to a compact in public place?
