I also not too sure, im thinking dslr (nikon D90) or semi-pro (canon S90 or 95, panasonic lumix LX3 or LX5)...
*
err..

there's alot of diff between those 2 types actually..the s90/95,lumix lx3/5 is a compact camera..which can easily carry around and put it in ur poket..but the lumix is abit bigger cuz of its lens and additional rubber grip..

the nikon D90 is a dSLR..

so now,u make up ur mind sir,u need a small camera that's easy to carry around

or

a dSLR that takes brilliant pics, but a bit bulky..

as for me,i take my dSLR on holidays..i mean going new places and stuff..

and i bring my compact everywhere i go..

well that's just me smile.gif

1 of my friend told me, what camera also same, skill is the most important.
*
yeah skill is important..lens too

and do take note that dSLR quality image is 'great' compared to high end compacts that's just 'good'

and both of lx5/s95 are user frenly smile.gif

I agree with Zstan though, the Sony A33 has one of the most longest spec list to price ratio
*
if u're leaning towards the HD video mode, sony's SLT camera's (a55/33) got the best AF so far

got to agree with sniper n zstan

just that with the sony SLT cameras,u might be losing abit of light..by 30%..not that big deal if u dont really mind tho smile.gif

If compare Canon S90 with Panasonic Lumix LX3, which 1 better?
*
this is a hard one actually..err

i have read alot of reviews about s95/lx5 so does the s90/lx3..some say s90,some say lx3..its a tie to tell u the truth..

for me,i prefer the lx3 colouring,and the s90's compactness.. smile.gif

i know its not helping..but i think its wut u want..if u want compactness,go for s90..if not go with the lx3..

errr..why do you say that D90's photo quality is better than 550D?
*
i oso think that the image quality of D90 is better than 550D..just a personal opinion..or maybe cuz the sensor oso is slightly bigger?and honestly,im a canon fanboy smile.gif

read this dude..just a lil something - http://www.digitalreview.ca/content/Canon-...Nikon-D90.shtml

you cannot compare like that la. unless you using the same settings and same lens to shoot the same subject.

however i do agree that D90 has a better built, feels more 'pro' than the 550D, with the inclusion of the top LCD screen. and yes, d90 has more of those 'shortcut functions'. higher fps also if i am not mistaken. biggrin.gif

but saying that d90 is better than 550D because d90 photo quality better without any solid facts....i cannot accept la. laugh.gif

wutever that makes u happy bro smile.gif
