May I know why is 60D better than D90? would like to know the differences? I heard D90 has a better grip.

can u comment a bit on the kit len, as the body price different, i can only have the 18-105 if i take D7000, is it a good lens and worth to spend compare to 60D's 18-200. i am thinking to hold only one lens for travel and no plan to change len during the whole trip.

Hi guys, I'm planning to get a DSLR... My FIRST cam of this range.. I'm a total noobie in this but I'm the type who loves and learns technology really fast.. Even with my 1.3MP compact last time I was already playing with ISOs, shutter speed and so on..

I'm planing to get Nikon 3100... Because 1) The budget suits me 2) Not too sure yet if I wanna take photography seriously (But will maximize my usage of any device, no white elephant syndrome), 3) Since I'm a noob, heard some people like this camera therefore after checking specs i got poisoned too..

I'm not at all familiar into the changing of lenses (yet) but I rather not change them at the moment. Just the basic kit will do.

My question: 1) Can some one tell me if this is a good choice (personally your experience)
                   2) Can someone give me alternative models similar to Nikon 3100, any brand... if possible state price and reason I should get it instead (if any)
                   3) I love Sony (fanboy), but why many people say its not good as a DSLR producer? Misconception or fact?
                   4) What else do I need with my DSLR? I love taking care of devices like a baby so let me know, eg: the cover thingy for the flash mount so on...
                   5) Will the camera be future prove? No need sooooo future proof, just reasonably.. And since this is my first, I'm not so sure what choices of lenses or accessory is abundant?

seem like magnesium alloy and it is 39AF and video continue AF is the key point to make hard decision to give up 18-200 lens.

Guys: another noob question, once I get to a shop or store.. what must I ask, find out? eg: warranty, freebies, bundle.. and find out as to not act stupid in the store? What must I be careful of when shop owners say something? I want to not be influenced by the shop owner into getting certain things and have the best deal at the same time..

I've been pondering over the D3100 and the D5000... But I've came to a decision to get a camera with an in built AF motor... So, a D7000 might do the trick...

Does the D7000 cost a bomb, cuz i'm not going to throw lots of money on the body itself, as friends told me to invest on lens cuz it already cost grands

thanks... But Sony's SLT-A33Y (A33 + SAL1855 all-purpose lens and SAL55200-2 telephoto zoom lens) both discontinued lenses for RM 2,799. Which means an additional RM400 for 2 lenses... Does it worth the extra money???

I'd like something smaller than dslr (lighter to carry around) but able to capture very good quality photos. I am currently using a very simple nikon digital cam for closeup purpose, it served me well but it's giving way. Don't know much about photography but very interested in it. Do you think it is valuable if i buy canon 1000d + 50mm 1.8 or just buy a nikon d3100?  I thinking if i had a budget about 2k, i can get either both of them. Before that i already know that d3100 don't have motor in body so this camera should need af-s lens that will be more expensive.
