I tried connecting my VSH819H-K to my vaio laptop via HDMI cable but i cannot get any audio from the receiver . I just want to play a movie in my laptop and listen its audio from the receiver . can some one help me.

Most of the time, audio from HDMI is not supported for computers but you can try this:
Go to control panel, sounds, playback, clicked on HDMI sound and then the Set Default button...thats if you Vaio is equipped with HDMI.

Control Panel -> Sound

and set to the correct output

So how bro..got sound or not?
