Your need one only if you have analogue sources like Turntables especially Moving Coil type that are very susceptible to noise.

what's your AV system?

I think if an AV system is very resolving (read high-end) then it would benefit from having a conditioner. If it were my current system, I would spend money on other things to bring up the level of the whole system first.

Well nothing on the high-end, just marantz amp and psb speakers & sub tongue.gif
Some advice to get a conditioner to help prevent these items from any unforseen circumstances blink.gif

I agree. The benefits of an AV conditioner (in terms of improving SQ) can mainly be appreciated in a highly resolving system. In a lower end system you might or might not be able to hear the difference.

Some of the ones from Bada or other china brand are about RM500-600. Another value one is Tacima about RM200-300, you can also try Belkin for value price. On the better side, the PS Audio Duet is RM1000. Those high end audiophile stuff like Richard Gray, Shunyata, Audio Magic will be several thousands.

Noted sifu jchong. Probably my low end setup don't really need a high end conditioner icon_idea.gif
