recently i hav seen a lot of our fellow lyn members who play WoW, got hacked....

therefore i advice to get the blizzard authenticator, it is very cheap and simple.
if you dont cant get the authenticator from US, get the blizzard mobile authenticator. it cost less then RM10 (RM4 for the program and the rest for the syncing services from service provider)

it is fairly simple. jus visit mobile.blizzard.com

you will need a credit card, debit card or paypal account to buy the program. it works on most phone.

if your phone is not listed on the list, you can still hav the authenticator provided tat your phone can run java. you can check the internet for guides cause its everywhere. jus google it.

again i must say, less then RM10 you get maximum security and you do not need to worry about getting your account hacked. its really secured.

i know that everyone who plays WoW have put in much effort into their characters and will be rly sad if their account got hacked. yes of course you may get back everything you have after emailing to blizzard but there is cases where ppl dont get back. wat if it happen to us? even if we got back our account. we wasted a few days waiting the admin to restore our account. why not jus pay RM10?

again the website is mobile.blizzard.com head over and buy to have maximum security.

I just tried purchasing and PHAILED!!!

they didn't update their db/website...

I'm using a SE C905, and it's not listed in their list, however, I'm quite sure it functions similar to K850i. so I proceed w paypal.



so I key in, and I got informed my device isn't compatible, then I click on the http://mobile.blizzard.com/support-cust.php to make my report, and the page didn't load up.

immediately I visited back the mobile site and found this - the correct Customer Supprt page

key in the respective field, and guess wat?

my phone model - SE C905 is listed!!!

now waiting for their reply.

lol did you get the WAP page that they gave? cause i nvr received an sms when i did it so i key in the page myself.

ya they gave me the URL, that's how I got the incompatible msg...

'cos I'm in mobile JAVA apps industry.

C series pretty much sharing the same API as K.

so now asking them if they can refund me.

try typing a random number after the battle net and u most prob will see the error screen

however, u can try Google for the battle.net mobile authenticator java app and manual install to ur phone. Did it with my nokia. However, u will using it without paying anything to blizz. Dont know whether it legal or not. If u want to try it pm me. I can email u the .jar file that i found on the google. I tried it use it and link it to my account. However, i relink it with another authen once i bought my iphone

Another trick is to find any of ur friend hp that supported by the mobile authenticator. Buy it 1$ cheap la and then download the app from ur friends hp to PC and PC to ur phone. After install it to ur phone, u can link the authenticator to ur account. Tadaa ur account is safe now

hmmmm... i dun see any SE phone starting with 'G'... when i browsed blizz mobile authenthicator thingie...

they need to update with the latest phone which is on the market now...

after i search all the google about authenticator. i was WTF! and again
battery cannot be replace T.T .

lifespan 7 years . and a chances of malfunction !

the phone app is better... however, they don't do for most models.
