COMIC FIESTA 09' OFFICIAL THREAD


This thread is open for everyone. Wish to meet all the LYN user who are a photographers and cosplayers.

As mentioned in SPM THREAD by C-Note message from babysiiaozz, they wish to meet after SPM to see our face behind the mask. I don't think everyone will attend for this event but those interested, you may join in even if you are not a photographers nor cosplayers.

Details for CF(short for comic fiesta):

Venue: Sunway Piramid Convention Hall
Date: 19 and 20 December 2009
Time: 11am till 7pm
Entrance fee: Rm15 per day(sadistic part)


I remembered they sell offer price if buying 2 days tickets or purchase it earlier in selected shops.

Time to recruit all LYN user will be discussed later..

I'll be there at 8am, so don't worry. I'm working for my boss as a photographers.

P.S: This is not an official CF websites. I don't in charge in CF. Photographers do not get any special access, you all will be there just as an attendees. I'm sure some of you wanna meet up with the user here. Just helping out.

I'll be there for both days as well Will be taking care of my group's doujin booth anyway lol.

Will also be cosplaying on Day Two, though I will be dressing up on Day One.

How to go by train?

mana ada train lor. Either you go to Kelana Jaya station then take bus or taxi from there.

no direct train IIRC. whenever I want to go there I usually take bus from KJ =3

You can take KTM Kommuter to Subang Jaya station then switch to Bas Mini, should take about 10 minutes from the station to Sunway Pyramid.

Pr1me_Minister: Plan to do so. But, it'll be a long journey from my home. Gonna be a tiring ride and sesak as well. Not to mention, everyone going by train on that day.

I'm going for both days as well so do see you all there.

If you plan to take the trains, please come early to the station. KTM is notorious for their "technical" delays, and the bus (parked just outside from the station) usually waits for trains from both KL-Sentul and Pel. Klang line so they can fill the bus with more people.

Have to wait until Monday to know if there's someone can replace me, so I can go on leave for Saturday.

Say, whos opening a booth for CF? I wanna visit and take a look

AnimeShrine has one. And most of my cosplayer friends have their own booth, as with The Figure Mall (TFM).

Can't wait to check out TFM. Shocked when I saw it last year.

zombie-pig: erm, transportation problems? if you're worried about the 'traffic' when going back, you could always go back before the event ends, or sometime later after the event ends. That's what I tend to do hehehe

Confirm going on both days. To those taking KTM Kommuter you should go earlier since their delays are getting worse now especially at peak hours.

hey .ts u should gather at infront the evelator....digital mall there...easily to find...next to apple reseller...infront HTC handphone..im so use to sunway since i worked there...i cant make it so early....i had to go education fair...my future are more important....after education fair only go comic fiesta...

Just came back from Comic Fiesta, might go again tomorrow. Got myself registered as Media today but no more Media tag to give out. So they gave me an alternative tag without notifying other crew members about that alternative tag. In the end I had to explain to the crew when they ask me not to take pic so close.

Management got alot more space to be improved tho

I went it TWICE but didn got caught.
i mean. i didn pay for the entrances fees actually.

You can take Putra lrt until Kelana Jaya and then take the RapidKL bus no. U623, it will bring you straight to Sunway Pyramid

Err if you want to see the LYN members, the AnimeShrine section is sharing the Emina's booth outside the hall near he ticketing area. We were the one that set up the PS3 system thar =3

I was waiting near the booth at 10.00 am , but everyone looked so fierce @_@; I didnt dare approach.

I didn't see any LYN members there, LOL.

Sorry, I chose the wrong place to meet up, too many people and too crowded.

But, I saw Zcdave, though only at the end of the section because he stopped by at my booth.
