It'll be good to rest evra but i doubt we have the option to do that. I think he has been our most consistent defender so far...we can't afford to lose this match...it's an epl game not CC or FA

Anderson is a good candidate. But unfortunately, still not performing up to our expectations yet. He's got great left foot, doesn't shoot much(doesn't get much chances too but dont forget the freekick he scored) and his long passes are ok(so far maybe a few very nice ones). Doesn't dribble much here, but in his old club. Most of the time, he plays a little behind(more like a DM) and trying to win and hold the ball
But maybe, we're expecting someone who can dribble a lot, score, nice passes. We still have Obertan btw This post has been edited by nshady: Dec 15 2009, 09:09 PM |

Any resemblance between Anderson and Ronaldinho? LOL.
If you look at his old porto video, the way he dribbles. Their posture when moving with the ball. |

Argh..It's time for revenge. We lost to acmilan in 06/07 by aggregate 5-3. We could have been the team making it into the finals that year! Besides that, we're gonna face beckham!

Just make sure that we have purely defenders playing in our defender role. Majority of them must be back. I want fletcher and carrick in midfield.

We actually shifted two of our first choice midfielders into the defence. Clearly, we were missing giggs and I believe berbatov could have been a better threat than owen with his flicks and passes(and you know some of his crazy finishings). Gibson was just passing around, trying to shoot, anderson struggling to make any impact, some long passes which failed, he was lined up behind owen and rooney but i see him ended up as a defensive midfielder. Scholes looked out of concentration after losing the ball to danny murphy which led to a goal. So now we have another week to next match, neville, brown, vidic should be back.
I was dissapointed with the scoreline, but let's move on! This post has been edited by nshady: Dec 20 2009, 12:25 PM |

Boxing day match, Gary, Brown, Vidic to be back I suppose. Ah long time to go with evans and O'shea. The Chelsea legend, Zola has done us a favor tonight
QUOTE(nimrod2 @ Dec 21 2009, 11:54 AM) i just duno why da leat was playing left back. It was a 3-5-2, with evra actually playing left wing back. De laet was actually fielded centre(left) since he has the capabilities to play any side of back four. So he probably feels more comfortable playing there than carrick/fletcher.he's inexperienced and so shaky. better to play evra there and risk da leat upfront on the left wing? better sense no? QUOTE(boxsystem @ Dec 21 2009, 01:05 PM) Same case when Chelsea drew Everton and we failed to grab the opportunity to be at the same points with them.Added on December 21, 2009, 1:52 pm QUOTE(sHsIkuA @ Dec 20 2009, 09:37 PM) He actually rejected us earlier before joining Madrid, thus Owen ended up signing for us. He's a real good striker, power, shooting, strength. Similarity between him and Luiz Ronaldo. This post has been edited by nshady: Dec 21 2009, 01:54 PM |

Tough season there, Chelsea leading us, Arsenal will lead us by 1 point by winning games in hand. News that teams like ManCity, Tottenham and Aston Villa able to break into top 4. Fulham and Birmingham are doing very well and in good form at the moment too.

QUOTE(verbatim @ Dec 22 2009, 03:42 PM) What a scary trio of forwards.. If they are in a team, Yeah topping the injury list..Btw, Man Utd have made it to the top of the league.. Not BPL but injury list. Hopefully they will recover fast esp the defenders... http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_pre...njury_table.php But I'm glad that around 4 defenders will be back this weekend. Gary Neville, Rafael, Vidic, Brown. Remember, we'll be having 7 matches in january =X |

I'm very proud with Evra and Vidic. Vidic only costed us 7m pounds 4 years ago and 5.5m pounds for evra. World class defenders

Well this season, in and out for vidic. But same goes to brown, and van der sar. You see them getting injury back after recovering. Not very serious one tho. Gary neville too.
I thinking of getting a jersey with vidic/evra nameset. This post has been edited by nshady: Dec 23 2009, 02:59 PM |

I'm quite happy with our striking option now. Rooney + Berbatov and Owen as third choice. I don't think we're so desperate for a striker. I'm more worried about replacement for ryan giggs, or a playmaker. Another unhappy case if Berbatov stays on the bench while Villa partners Rooney on field
