Yesterday I CODed with TS at Sentul Timur LRT Station. I bought a mixed of all the flavors in the 1kg packaged for trying purpose. As of today, I already tasted Marshmallow 014 - Strawberry Jem Filled and it taste soo good. Knowing the marshmallow is halal make it even tastier because we can eat it without worries in our heart (for muslim).

I recommended this product to everybody. Two thumbs up!! Will buy again from this seller especially for my engagement and wedding ceremony hehe

non-halal marshmallows contain gelatine from animal sources (pig/ animals not slaughtered according to Muslim criteria).
non-halal candies / chocolates are those that either contain gelatine (as mentioned above) or liquor in them.
so yes, to answer your question, there are a lot of non-halal candy / confectionery out there.

totally agree with this. a lot of additive being added to things that we eat. although there maybe things that is not stated, but we must do everything that is within our knowledge to eat something halal and good (for muslims). most gelatine came from bovine source (maybe cows and pigs). although cows is halal to eat, we must also consider how it being slaughtered. for an animal to become halal, it must be slaughtered using technique as specified in the religion.

this post is not intented to harm anybody's feeling. as a muslim, i'm trying to clarify things. cheers ^^
