ahh..if u compare canon wise, then you would have to set ur colour settings in cam. nikon colours are more saturated, darker, vivid kinda thing.

QUOTE(invisibl3boyz @ Dec 19 2009, 05:03 PM) ermm...in tht case i will keep my 18-105mm after hearing opinions from u guys..thanks..... anyway...thinking of getting 50mm too...but the seller said no need buy d coz can even use the Photoshop to create such effect. So I decided not to buy. But my question is, is this lense really powerful in low light shooting as it cn go to 1.8...and is it really good for portrait also?compare to the kitlens? if yes, I might re-consider on buying it.... the seller can be right and wrong. it is possible to create bokeh in photoshop but it will not look as good as real and tell me, how are u gonna photoshop every single pic? that would take a lot of time rite? The f/1.8 u're getting would be good for low light and portrait. Good for low light coz or big aperture and good for portrait because of shallow depth-of-field. that's why they hav other primes like 85mm, etc. Stop it down a little maybe to f/2 or f/2.8, and it'll be super sharp.Added on December 19, 2009, 5:05 pm » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « nice ...great color and sharp..... |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 24 2009, 12:16 PM) Bout RM4300 from Fotokem MP and Pakard MP. Both roughly same pricing. Price are bad in Melaka due to lack of competition that price already quite ok la. RRP from nikon is RM4688. if u travel all the way to kl, your petrol + time + toll already enough to cover adi lor. |

QUOTE(mmww104 @ Dec 25 2009, 03:17 AM) ok thankss fisherman!! let s try try ... ohhhh still can t ... when i click the IMG button it aks me to enter the URL .... when u click on img, the url they ask u to enter is the url u can copy from imageshack, photobucket, flickr or other free image hosting sites. u hav to upload to those sites first before u can copy the link over.the other way is to upload to LYN server. there's a upload attachment button when u're adding a reply to a thread but for now, all uploading to LYN are disabled as u can see the error up there. |

nope...but the manual should say whether there's such function or not.
anyway, it's in the playback menu there. look for image review. or u can look at the index page of the manual and look for "monitor" |

raw can keep details up to almost 5 stops if i'm not wrong. i read that somewhere before.
what i think he'll do is, shoot it underexposed so that can use a faster shutter, then later only boost exposure from computer. RAW also allows u to control noise better. |
