QUOTE(Sp00kY @ Jan 14 2010, 04:58 PM) got money 1.4 lo... i am using 1.8D la...i am afraid 1.4 might be hard to control because of the shallow DOF:) 85mm 1.8D DOF is already pretty shallow for me QUOTE(@meno @ Jan 14 2010, 05:09 PM) Get the 1.4, shoot at 1.8-2.8... Thanks for the feedback guys..now need to start saving money, will probably get the 1.4d If you intend to shoot F4 or higher, get the 1.8 enough... But i seldom shoot wide open, usually stop down a little. This post has been edited by ReeNz: Jan 15 2010, 04:08 AM |

QUOTE(Sp00kY @ Jan 30 2010, 04:33 AM) Yup, i know sb600 can't do it by itself, but i read sumwhere that if u use sb800/sb900 as master u can actually do the hi freq strobe with sb600 as slave..so as the built in flash in d90 can do the strobes, i wonder if both of them (built in and sb600) can do it as well in commander mode.. |

QUOTE(the_tranny @ Feb 2 2010, 01:48 AM) Very nice capture. If it wasnt for that clipped highlight which is totally beyond recovery or pp, this photo would have looked way better. Guess I couldn't do anything about the clipped highlight..not much better after trying some fixes with lightroom also..QUOTE(Sp00kY @ Feb 2 2010, 09:41 AM) A very nice moment captured. Yeah, i used 18-105mm..i cropped some of the pic actually..Hope ya dont mind me touching up the picture....i think its slightly over exposed. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « were u using 18-105mm? QUOTE(celciuz @ Feb 6 2010, 04:31 AM) Not sure if this has been shared before or not, I just love the ranks http://www.dxomark.com/index.php/eng/DxOMa...Camera-rankings D90's doing pretty well in this synthetic test. #15, and above the D90 are the FF and Medium Formats. |
