Who wants to sell their 1.8d (55mm)..
If you're finding a 50mm F1.8, let me know your budget.
I have a spare unit to let go...

hey guys..im getting a new lens...now i have 3 lenses in my list.
1. Tamron 1750VC
2. Nikkor 18200 VRII
3. Nikkor 35 f1.8/f2
im leaning more to the 1750VC...wht do u guys think?
1750VC if you want a versatile indoor lens with decent bokeh.
18-200(get the old version is good enough, anyhow it's the same VR II mechanism) if you want something which will be easy for you, but willing to sacrifice a little on the sharpness and IQ.
35mm F1.8, my personal opinion, not a lens i will get. Tested it, didn't like it. I feel my 50 F1.8 is way better.

17-50.
for myself, i already have the 17-50 and 50mm 1.8.
now considering either Nikkor 85mm 1.8 or Tamron sp-90 2.8
85mm F1.8 if you intend to shoot more portraits, SP90 if you wanna do more to macros.

why arh?
because 1) QC 2) AF-S
else its a good buy! perhaps its my luck, ive tried the older ones (1750) and had focusing problem! pretty scared liao
The old 1750 was not as good as the new one. Try it out and you will see the difference. Even the overall build quality feels better.

how is the quality between 35mm F1.8G and 50mm f1.8D??? which do you prefer?
IQ wise should not have major differences.
But for me, i prefer my 50mm even on crop factor.

yalor..thts why the quality concerns me..but i want bokeh and fast lens. and i don rly like primes..

I guess i have to try my luck..

Get the 1750 VC bro, i think that's the best choice u have now apart from Primes.
I'm looking at that too, just that the moo factor slowing things down...
