Well Spotgamers Gamers Award Ceremony is back! This time we will be hosting it in conjunction with PC Fair 2009 in KLCC Convention Center Level 3 Room 304 & Room 305. This is the chance for the gaming community to get the exposure and also maybe even future contacts to help the gaming community grow.

What can you expect from this year event? Hmm lets just say this year motto is:


"By gamers for gamers!"



Yup you heard and saw it right! All our activities will be focusing just on promoting our E-Sports community to the public. With such a big crowd coming over this weekend, this would be a great opportunity to let the public know that E-Sports does exist in Malaysia.

For the 1st time ever, we have more than 15 awards to give away ranging from many different genres of games including the new addition of Winning Eleven, Sudden Attack and FIFA Online 2. Not just that, we also have included a new award category for the Best Company Supporting Game Community. This award is for companies who have done a lot of contribution and effort to bring up our community in making E-Sports a reality.

Plus this year the award will be decided by YOU! yes YOU! Spotgamers will select the nominess for each category but it is YOU who will decide on who shall received this prestigious award. All you gotta do is to vote here.

The winner of the award would received a trophy and some cool prizes from our sponsors. We will reveal the design of the trophy soon so stay tune!

Even if your not on the list, dont worry! You can also come over and join Predict The Winner contest and stand a chance to win some cool prizes from our sponsors as well. Just predict who is the winner in the friendly matches and you will get your prizes. You can watch your favourite players playing against each other and at the same time win prizes. How cool is that!

Thanks for your comment. 1st of all we would like to clarify that the nominees was selected NOT from sponsorship but from the committee members from each games who value each nominees base on their performances through out the year.


We feel that IG Shizuma Pro deserve to be in the list is because its a TEAM game, not individual. Although some are experienced players, but it is not easy to be in a team and to play good at the same time. In football example, Real Madrid had a lot of superstars at 1 point but still hard to produce the results as predicted.


However, if you feel that they are better deserve team to be listed please feel free to let us know who and the reason why they should get nominated. We are always open for suggestion. ^^

i think what he said is true.rookie team deserve to the team with non pro players in it.if like that,why dont kingsurf make some random team names,and join some pro tourneys and win it to get the 'rookie award'. And jali like u said its a team game,like u said real madrid with alot of superstars but they hard to win,so did u call real madrid as a rookie or a pro?for example hull city,when they first join the EPL,they beat some pro teams.thats what we called as a rookie,did u see pro players in hull city before they joined the EPL?when they at division 3/4 ? I think rookie team shld goes to EoG or E-wave .

agreed. another candidate for dota rookie team might be Nt.Gaming. They sent IG.shizumapro to the lower brackets, before losing to them and getting 3rd place in wcg amateur. They also got 3rd place at Johor SMM qualifiers and only lost to Kingsurf iirc. And they also manage to enter group stage for smm grand finals. I think that's pretty decent and I don't think the players were that well known before? I might be wrong though.

Therefore, we CONFIRM will be running L4D2 Survival Time Challenge at 5.00pm just after Spotgamers Gamers Award ceremony.
