guys,

i am a newbies on painting.

First of all, going to paint my house (only interior wall living room+bed room) in 2 weeks time, really need good advice fr fellows here.

Secondly, I am living at south of peninsular, JB. if you could relate to area near me would be fantastic.

1) Is Jotun Strax a higer grade paint than Jotun Majestic or the reverse?
2) What's is the price range for Jotun Majestic Matt 5L and 1L?
3) Do i need to mix jotun paint with water/thinner? what's the ratio? or can I paint straight away from the tin?
4) Jotun paint is mostly mix/created with machine upon purchase, is such method of producing the paint really close to the catalogue color?
Does it depends on the skill of the person operate the machine?

5) Is Jotun Paint consider cheaper compare to Nippon/ICI Dulux esp in Johor or JB area?

thanks in advance for your advice. I am running against time.
wish i have found this forum thread earlier.

Jotun Strax 5L for RM 81
Jotun Majestic 1L for RM 26
Jotun Citoprimer 09 1L RM 29
Nippon Vanilex 5L for RM 85 (a bit exp I think)

3) Always mix water based paints with water only. Ratio is <=10% of volume of paint depending on the final viscosity. Basically you dont need to mix with any water unless its a sealer.

1) I need further advice on above, if i mix my paint with water, will the original colour become paler/lighter?

2) For the jotun citoprimer 09 i brought, just paint out from the tin? no mixing with water needed?
