Depends on wall preparation b4 painting.
Surrounding area also play a role which causes algae and mould. If maxilite is painted indoor, there is no algae except for fading.
Same for other normal paints too.
Peeling off is because of wall condition. A hairline cracked wall allow water to penetrate and causes paint to peel off. Painting during wet days also affect finishes.
Painting looks simple but if one wants a long lasting paint job, skilll and experienced is expensive. Not forgetting the quality of paint.

I understand the need to save costs but I don't think it is a good choice to suggest to use interior emulsion paint for outdoor purposes unless it is shaded under a roof with very little or no contact to rain sprays..
Instead of choosing the bigger brands, you can consider using Sissons Paints *hint*hint*, Smart Paint, Colourland, San Cora, etc... (I hate to recommend my competitors but these is a thread calling for help)
Some of these brands may not be readily available but I would say these brands a quite well covered nationwide..
Good luck..
If you already get my hint, I would try my level best to answer all your questions..
