any of u paint house recently? where did you purchase ur paint? is there any place to recommend with discount etc?

if you have cornice, do you use tape on the cornice to avoid it being paint with other color? will mask tape peel off paint on the cornice?

so i can do away the tape? just paint carefully at cornice area

say if i paint wall halfway..i leave it dry and went somewhere else..next day i continue painting the rest of wall that is not painted, will i see un-balance paint or stain of the earlier dried paint? dont know how to explain

about 110/tin for 4l++ i think..now i see ur comment nippon paint the worst..any recommendation what can i get with price similar to satin glo?

besides, my wall already got a yellowish wall..if i wanna paint something lighter, can i go straight to my paint? or do i need to paint smth else first?

and to use poly filla to fills to nails holes, what to use to smoothen the wall?

if i use tape during paint to avoid painting unwanted area, when i peel off the tape will it spoil the paint, ie stick out the paint too? can i tape cornice? or if my feature wall want 2 diff color, can i tape one side first?

One of my main reasons for using Satin Glo/ Pearl paint is because I have kids - pearl paint = easy to wipe and clean. Is this correct ?
Does Jotun Strax Matt paint allow me to wipe the walls?

guys i have a nippon booklet with me now, got few questions:

1. Matt, Low Sheen or Mid Sheen is nicest for interior?
2. Any of u familiar with nippon range? im thinking of below combination..
Feature wall - either Matt Odourless Wood Box (3012T) or Mid Sheen Satin Glo Light Taupe (730)
The rest of walls for whole house except ceiling use either Matt Odourless Reserved White (OW23 1P), Odourless Eggshell (OW19 2P), or Odourless Quilter's Thread (4031P).

Anyway familiar with Nippon? Can give some opinion?

Matt Odourless - RM135
Mid Sheen Satin Glo - RM100

Hm, the reason i choose Odourless is not because of its Odourless, but due to its color only available in Odourless range..

hi trdcelica, tks for the advise. yes you are right, went to ACE hardware ystday. however they do not have ready color. only mix when cust want to buy. somehow i wanted to buy those ready factory-made. is there such thing?

im afraid if i buy not enough, they have to mix again. when mix again the color might be diff already..

is there ready made nippon paint or all also shop mix themself?

Bought Nippon Spotless,

5 tong for interior wall
1 tong for feature wall
1 big tong of Maxilite for ceiling.
Spotless is RM105/tong, they mix for me. Ready stock is cheaper but color less choice.
Maxilite, RM62

Im told i bought too many tongs for my 1000sq apartment?

cybersim2., i think can. thats the use of color creation machine. but expect color that u need to mix instead of those ready made to be slightly more expensive..

ahh..trdcelica u're really familiar with paint! ha! hey say i want to paint my 1100sq apartment, 6 tongs of 5L paint enough?

Finished my paint. Started ystday. Today start a while, cant tahan. So call indon come paint. RM170 settle whole house.. paintwork..pay nuts get monkey loh, but i aint complaining..

no lar lol..i mean not excellent quality, especially the cornice is white color, while wall is brown..so you can see some imperfect line
