Anyone knows is the a minimum size for game installation on the HDD? I have a 20gb HDD and normally can install up to 3 games at a time. But after installing Forza 3 there's already no more space for another game Is 3.4gb the smallest?

If I am not mistaken, the standard 20GB hard disk has only 12GB remaining space for use. The rest is used for the system it self, for example, system data and et cetera. Correct me if i am wrong.

I think so too.. but the point is is there a minimum size? I have many games installed at 3.4gb

I think of this context, there is no minimum file size installation for the XBOX 360 when you transfer your games into the hard disk. It ranges between games, I would regard every installation would be +-3gb ++.

Game install sizes vary from game to game. The lowest I've seen is 3.2gb and the highest is 6.4gb.

there was a patch that reduced installation size quite a fair bit.. last time I remember some games take 5-6gb but now can cut down to 3gb

get a 120gb or 250gb, makes your life much easier.

Where can I get that patch?

the summer 09 NXE update covers that. game like KOFXII is only 700mb installation. as before it was 3gb+. not all games this small, most of them atleast 3gb above.

As long as you get online, you'll get that patch

sorry OT a bit, after install the game to hardisk, do we have to press Y then select "play from hardisk" ? does it automatically plays from HDD after install?
