hi all you arowana masters biggrin.gif
I'm seeking advise tongue.gif

I'm currently a bichir type person...and yeah...safari pricing on a seng. is like swt ....

anyways, just tot i'd like to ask rite, if bichirs can be kept with a arowana?

Currently i got 2 ornate bir. , 1 dehlzie, 1 seng, 1 albino seng. and a rope fish =.=" in a 4ft by 1.5 ft aquarium tank.
On avg my bichirs are like 5-6 inch

If i'm to get an arowana, i'd be planning to sell/trade off my 2 orantes and probly the rope too.

i'm 1st time thinking about getting arowana in my tank haha, i too admire the beauty ^.^ just that i find them seriously madly pricy :S (image of money flying outta wallet hahaha

Reason = bichirs most of the time low level...my top level is very empty =.="
Maybe i get yellow tail guah...not sure :S
I saw some priced at rm150 at a fish shop near my place for yellow tail, is that good pricing? :S

Also, is arowana diet costly? how much do you masters ususally spend on feeding your arowana's on avg?

Thank you arowana sifu's for your advice in advance tongue.gif

K bro i got a senagalus with my silver arowana and they dont bother each other. But expect your bichirs to be alittle torn up in their fins.all my fishes with my arowana first few days go through 'initiation' so they get alittle beat up but that about it. For food its best to train em to eat pellets.its abit pricy but its better as their staple diet. Some aro no need train pellets.Like mine straight away started eating pellets from 3 hours i brought him/her home xD.Hopefully my advice helped smile.gif btw where did u get your ornate/dehlzie 8D and how much ?

oo ic haha

hmnn, my ornates were bought at 'sea park' p.j.
I bought them like a year ago lol when they were like only 2 inch lol. If i remember correctly it was rm55.
My dehlzie was given as a gift from my uncle (currently in sg), not really sure where it was from but from going around k.l and selangor (casual fish shop look-out =.=) it seems to be very very rare =.="

imo too many taiwan striped-bichir around sad.gif (soz i forgot the actual name- too late nite gonna sleep tired to search the name lol)
me dun like the taiwan bichir cuz the head shape look like someone step on it swt .....but thier body somewhat reminds me of a dessert tank wtf lol....@.@

mmm.. so u'd think rm150 for a yellow tail (6 inch) arowana is good price? or rip off @.@
I soo want to have like gold-xback or blood-red arowana but i guess i'll only attempt to buy it when i'm like ...rich-rich lol
(ya =.=" i kno...my job salary sucks....zzzz)
wahahaha
