^ agreed ;D most of the good games are very cheap anyway. angry birds only 99c but see they conquer #1 spot how long dy...i wonder how much $ they made

it's those 9.99 apps that i stop buying dy... they're normally fun but not much replay value tongue.gif

guyz can i noe what is push notification... how does it works?
*
imagine something like a postman. when u got a mail/parcel/anything, the postman will send to u. this is push

a 'pull' would be u have to go post office everyday n check whether u got anything or not. so this is not efficient

so what happens is when someone send u a message, what happens is the message go to whatsapp server > whatsapp server tells apple server u got message > apple tells u u got message (the popup) > u read the message

there's no settings for whatsapp under Settings

yeah it's a good app but definitely not perfect. sometimes get disconnected for no reason, cannot send, receive very slow etc. for important / urgent stuff i still use SMS and calls

whatsapp is successful simply because a lot of people is using it. it's pretty much a staple app for anyone who owns a smartphone. no one cares if there's a better app if all their friends aren't using it.

look at google+. it has lots of features and in some cases better than facebook. but people just dont care.
