I'm comparing the whatsapp messenger on both iphone 6 plus and iphone 5s..i realize the fonts are stretched up and looks a little blur compare to the one on iphone 5s....anyone feel the same?

Guys, I'm helping a friend, he is using an iphone 4 (iOS 5.1.1) and recently his whatsapp cant receive/ send media files so he reinstall the app, and now he get this "could not connect to whatsapp server" upon entering his mobile number. both of us have tried every single ways, every forum and pretty much any possible ways....anyone else experiencing this? I guess its not because his phone and whatsapp version is too old that he cant connect to whatsapp server right?
