I am IOS Whatsapp user now, and I bought the app at 0.99USD. I just want to check, this is a lifetime account as per my mobile number, if I am going to jump ship into Windows Phone/Android then will my account be invalid? How to migrate all the chat history as currently the backup is done to iCloud.

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Apr 7 2014, 03:08 PM) From iOS to Android, if you've purchased it, it will be 'Lifetime'. However no way to retrieve the chat history right?

QUOTE(REST3 @ Apr 7 2014, 09:51 PM) whatsapp allows you to email the entire conversation on a person to person basis. so if the chat history is important, such as for legal or purchasing history, then this can be emailed to your own ID. just click on the chat, tap on the top most to go into contact info, scroll right down to bottom, choose Email conversation. done Wow great tips! I never know this function LOL but after converting into email it is non-reversible process already right?
