Hi, new watsapp user here, just an enquiry.. In digi 3G network, should I set firewall on or off?

Why I can't install whatsapp into my iPod? Is it because it's not compatible anymore?

Works fine on mine the last time I used it. What's your iOS version?

The latest iOS 4.1. It's work fine with my iPhone. For the iPod, everytime I try to install, it never success.

not sure about the iPod touch.

which makes a little sense since there is no mobile number attached to the iPad.

if you go to the app store.. it says it is only compatible with iphones

eh... i used to use whatsapp on my ipod touch before. 1st gen, on 3.1.2. worked fine for me. still can link to my phone number n so on (it'll send the sms to my phone, i just key into my ipod)

not sure if the updated version doenst support ipods but i cant imagine why

It doesn't matter. As long as the phone the number is attached with is able to receive text messages, it will work. After all, all Whatsapp is asking for is just the 3 digit code verification they text to you.

why don't use the MSN to chat? what is the advantage over the whatssap and msn?

after did some google-ing, i found out that whatsapp remove support for iPod touch on the latest update 2.5.11. zzzz. So pity meh to people bought the app to use with their iPod touch,

a person has to be signed in to able to receive messages over the MSN.

whatsapp doesn't reqiure such prerequisite and hence it mimics the conventional text messaging system.

is it true that whatsapps can use to connect with BBM?

i re-installed back my whatsapp but for some weird reason..i am not given any notification when i receive a msg..i will only noe when i check it manually..i have the app running in the background..anyone noes why?

Yup... But the BB would need to install whatsapp as well...

Currently BB for whatsapp is free to download and free for 90 days but after that you'd need to pay 1.99USD per year in order to use the service...

check settings -> notifications -> whatsapp -> enable all

i wan to ask why i dint receive any "verify msg" from whatapp?

for u information, me installed it in my 3GS last time and i get de verify code..
now i upgrade to Iphone 4 and i installed it again.. i try to get verify code again but they dint send to me..

Try sending them an e-mail if you've purchased. Thats what I did , got a response from their CS , they re-routed their number to a US number , I got the PIN - instantly it worked

im having no issues as well with whatsapp!...i like this app!....damn good..for me lah!....but too bad for BB people cause its on trial basis...

If i did not run whatsapp on the background, i still can get notifications right? just wanna confirm...
