Hi experts, got a question here about deleting Whatsapp messages.
I have about 3 to 4 years of chat history and this is making the app very laggy. Would like to know if it's possible to delete the messages which are more than certain time, e.g. more than 1 year old? Searched with Google on this but can't seems to find the answer. Do you guys have issue with whatsapp currently?
i'm having a minor issue with Whatsapp where it didnt notify me with new msgs until i open the app itself. Was it normal? |

I bought new phone and wanna restore messages from old phone to new one but I always got error upon restoring.
 And the messages restored are 2 years time. My backup stored in Google Drive is lastest. I tried to move the local backup database to the new phone and uninstall the Whatapps and reinstall. Found backup and messages restored till 31% and got this error message. Asked to restore from earlier backup and still the same. Anyway to resolve? Email Whatapps Support and has no response at all.
