Anybody know how to set new notification tones for whatsapp in ios?? Coz in android if download new tone. Can use in whatsapp. But ios cant.

don't think so, cause the custom ringtone i made did not available in whatsapp settings.

any one heard that whatsapp is going to introduce the call function like viber ?

Using exactly as yours. No prob. Try uninstall and reinstall the app.

No need to check whatsapp status already lah. Forever free after you bought the app.

There is a particular person I chat a lot with on whatsapp and now this particular conversation lags a lot when I open it. Sometimes take up to 30 seconds to just open the conversation while other conversations can open immediately.

I have tried to delete the conversation so many times but whatsapp will hang and crash after 5 minutes or so. Is there any way to remove this conversation? I want to keep my other chat rooms and conversations on going.

i had download and install a ori whatapps when the apps store have promotion limitied time for free..... when i m using 3gs

after i change iphone 4 , my friend help me JB and download a JB version of whatapps from installous and now i wanna update it to ori version .... but i wanna keep the record , how ? i affraid that if i install the ori , the JB version chat history will be no more ...... any ppl help me ? in simple way ?

You need to uninstall JB whatsapp version, then download whatsapp from AppStore using your account again.
I'm not sure how to retain the history though.
Perhaps you can try backup using iTunes into PC.
Then delete Whatsapp.
Then install Whatsapp from your account.
Then restore from iTunes.

try reinstall the whole app.

The latest version will allow sync chat-history with iCloud.
But those on j/b versions, will have to wipe it out first.

The progress bar should be gone within <1 minute. Unless your history is very long.
Mine is fine.

I have problem receiving message since i updated to the latest version of Whatsapp. I dont get some of the message from my friends, sending out is fine. Anyone experiences the same?

if not mistaken there's a email backup function which you can transfer your whole chat history to your email. well, it's worth a try

try backing up your chat history to your email first. I doubt the chat history will be there once you uninstall whatsapp
