Yeah GIS is the most expensive of the lost. Last time we paid RM 250/team; yesterday's at UM we only paid RM 170/team. Of course the pitch quality is another matter la... I'm super glad that the weather held up yesterday!

Hahaha you're right. My memory fails me. The last time we paid RM 250 per team at GIS and we had Doggy as referee!!! The UM venue was confirmed through the referee so I'm not sure of the cost breakdowns.

Btw, here's MyRAWK's match report on the game!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaay lompat katak!

Btw in case LYN is interested, we could look at having a team in next season's Garden Social League, alongside MyRAWK! Would be awesome!

speaking of which, when is the next season?

No idea lah dude. Just throwing up ideas in the air. I'm sure most of the other existing teams will want to keep it going somehow, someway.

I really don't see how LYN can't put up a consistent team. At least everybody knows each other and play futsal together almost every week. MyRAWK started from zero! We didn't even know our own players' names in the first few games. As long as you've 25 players registered, the bigger problem is trying to cope with everyone rather than attendance.

Plus, from the few games that we've had, LYN wouldn't be whipping boys. Just keep the offside trap running!

If we go ahead with the Padang B idea then no need friendly also can. Consider it a glorified futsal session amongst ourselves.

An update on the footie game which you guys will love! The venue has been changed to GIS and the time is 3.30pm on Sunday evening.

On an unrelated note, I'd like to wish everyone a good year ahead, maaf zahir dan batin. Hope you have fun with the countdown festivities but don't get caught for overcelebrating by Rela coz that's just plain embarassing!

Guys we may be able to transfer 1 or 2 players from Myrawk tomorrow. Got some extra friends coming so no worry about player shortages. Don't think they're goalkeepers though!

Btw do arrive early coz ref will start game on time. There are usually other games at 5 so if we start late like last time, our game time will be shorter. Our loss.

Go towards Sri Hartamas. Garden International School is in Mont Kiara. Do a google and you should be able to find the map.

Why need so many defenders when you can spring offside traps!

Naz, you know that we are eagerly awaiting. Don't take too long!

Btw I'd like to apologize on behalf of Myrawk in case of any issues that may have cropped up. You guys know we don't play dirty, and while the red card can be argued, the ref was a total disappointment.

Unfortunately the referee was the emo-est of all. Beats Ben and Terry hands down. No fights, but we had to pull the referee back as he was threatening a Myrawk player.

Pono did run into our midfielder and flung him off, conceding a foul. Just another day in the office :-)

Btw the guy did get to the ball first, I was right in front. Somehow took Doggy down along. We agree it should be a yellow for the studs up challenge. But the red was harsh..

Anyhow I thought the game was quite a friendly one, the main trouble was with the cowboy ref instead of between players!

I know you guys thought by getting the ball first it isn't a foul.
Studs up is a foul with or without the ball.
Because of the contact with the player. it warrants a yellow card. but if referee feels it was any intention in it.. it comes red.
No arguments against the card or rules, and we all agree that the studs were up. But getting the ball first also gives a strong case that the challenge was not a malicious one. A yellow would have sufficed, especially considering that this is a friendly between 2 amateur teams, and there were no prior rough gameplay by either teams.

As you can also see, half the players in Myrawk are from here. The youth talent here is awesome! Macam Ajax. The next young player that's showing a lot of
promise is wai leong. His zippy tricky runs with or without the ball is a rare skill for
someone so young. Our scouts are keeping close tabs on his development.

We don't exactly go around picking fights now do we. Anyway it would be really embarrassing to fight with 17 year old boys biggrin.gif

... And then getting beat up by them. All the best guys don't lose the game or it's be as embarassing as losing your pants on the dance floor.

Fuaaaah loving the pictorial writeups Naz! Must've taken lot of effort and time. No wonder you missed January's target! Hahaha!

I'm glad I didn't show; although I had wanted to initially.

Wanted to also pass Giotto his specially ordered "Polvoron Pinipig", whatever that is. I made sure to keep it in between my dirty, soiled undies in the bag to maintain its freshness and to protect it from being crushed during travels.

They also have a Serena-Venus combo, for those of you who like a party.
