tried the pork burger at sid's pub at bangsar south priced at RM16, add bacon rm2, cheese rm2, had both. terribly average. do avoid. next gon try sanbanto ...

sanbanto pork burger bacon n cheese RM21

first excuse the non halal image
Pork patty was nice and thick, the way it should be but the real kicker here is their own home made bacon which was devilishly good. nice n crispy the only way u want ur bacon.
next the melted cheese was very overwhelming along with the patty, making it almost salty/cheesy with every bite (a good thing if u luv ur cheese) id say in this case the cheese taste was stronger than normal, ( u knw the feeling ur eating cheeseburger but sometimes u don even taste the cheese at all)
fresh cut cucumber/onions brings in that healthy taste to go with ur burger; the only flip side was my lower bun was soggy either from lettuce or oil which made the ordeal slightly unpleasant

restaurant was nice and clean, service was fast as we were the only 2 parties there tongue.gif; bangsar branch
chances of revisit? 100% at rm21 i think its decent value and the other things they cater isnt bad either, tried to the bolognese

had La bodega's beef and spicy chicken burger on sat night
for the price of around rm29, the beef patty is dry bun is ordinary, fries given are stingy
the chicken is slightly better but overall neither is justified for the price

jus tried myburgerlab, had beautiful mess 3.0
nice juicy beef patty, great fries with rosemary herb BUT stupidly long queues and no place to sit
ud think twice if the 30-40mins wait is worth the rm18 burger

I thought of goin there at 730pm.
Luki I read this thread... tongue.gif
I went to dine at fatboy instead.
The crowd of big but ada place to sit and makan compared to burgerlab.

I never been to this lab, how big is the place compare to fatboy?

well fatboy's beef patty are bland and dry
the pork is better
not to mention how they cuthroat u with the watered down soft drinks; glass is so small already and packed with so much ice charging u RM4/5

These are some pork burgers that i'll gladly have anytime;

1) The Hungry Hogs @ SS15
2) Brussel @ Pyramid and Jaya One
3) Betty Midwest @ Aman Suria

I had Fat Boy recently, let's just say I rather eat Burger King & Carls Jr.

here's my take on s.wine chorizo burger
patty was slightly spicy as its spposed to be chorizo anyway, had bbq sauce, brioche bun was v tasty, almost like eating the layers on croissant
overall i think id rate it as good
now for the setbacks, pricey for its size/portion, and the queues+ wait times r bad; also limited on menu selection as it is just listed on the typical 1 menu page
