Hello everyone

i ordered some stuff from playasia and they were shipped on 10 of Nov and till now i didn't recieve them

i used the free air economy box

i know that it needs 5-15 days to deliver but now it has been 20 days

i sent playasia an email and they told me:

Please also notice that sometimes items are held up by your local postoffice or customs service. If you haven't done so yet, we recommend you to ask your post office for assistance as well.

if i'm not mistaken the local post office is POS MALAYSIA right??

so i called them and chose to talk to PosLaju but they told me they need the item number or something like that i didn't get what he was talking abt

i don't have any number or anything

actually i thought the box should be delivered to my apartment

now i don't know what to do and i don't even know if the product is with POS MALAYSIA or with the customs service or non of them

since i'm a foreinger student i have no idea where the local post office nor the customs service

i live in cyberjaya where should i go or what should i do

dun worry, its takin so long or longer bcos u chose the free air economy box n the keyword here is BOX... i oso kena b4, somehow our msian customs will hold the item longer if its shipped in a box...

so if i wait am i guaranteed to get the items? or do i in some cases need to go to the local post office or the customs service or i won't get it otherwise??
because it's already 20 days and i read in the forum that even with customs delay it shouldn't take more than 16 days

i used to buy items from Play-asia too a couple of times using free air shipping.
It took abt 9 -11 days even a few times free shipping.
Even in boxes.

I guess you can try writing an email to Play-asia.
they should able to do something with it , i guessed

i think instead of calling, just go to ur nearest post office where usually the item arrived, and give ur name and address, ask them to check.iinm pa free delivery is not via poslaju..it's just via normal pos.

i thought poslaju is the name for packages other than the mails
ok i'll go tomorrow and check, hopefully i'll find it

u just misunderstood poslaju... poslaju can be anything..normal letter also can be poslaju..it's a service called "POS BERDAFTAR" and FAST. means they records the item movement.
normal pos also can be anything..it's up to the sender. just be patient..PA is terribly slow if use free postage.

My parcel ship on 2 Nov and only arrive today. On box, it stated "dilepaskan oleh kastam on 25 Nov". Most probably you have to wait for another 1 week to received the item.

okgun: that's too long it took them 28 days!!
seriously if i knew that i'll wait this long i wouldn't have ordered since the difference in price is less than RM20 for the play and charge kit
it looks like this will be my last time ordering from them unless i want something rare and only available from them

anyway i'm really thankful for all of u guys i'll wait for another 10 days and see what happens

well this is not PA fault, but thats how postal/kastam services works.

I have received items from PA less than a week, and sometimes 4 weeks. Depends on luck, plus year end it usually takes longer due to holiday season. More shopping, more work load for postal and customs.

So just have a lil patience

I used to get my PA items around 7 working days (back in 2007-2008)

Lately, it has been like 14 working days. I don't know what's wrong~

We will start the investigation with our local post officeimmediately but please note it might take up to 3 weeks for this process. Also please note right now is around the Christmas period so delay issometimes inevitable. If between this time you have received your itemplease let us know. I kindly ask for your patience while we areinvestigating.

i'll wait and let them inverstigate and hopefully i'll get it during this week i don't really want to wait for another 3 weeks until they finish their inverstigation

I usually wait for 6 weeks before making myself heard. Anything received before that with free shipping is a bonus to me

ok what about if i use the Economy Air Bubble
does it usually take the same time as the Economy Air Box
i mean in the customs and POS ??

I had one lost shipment shipped on Oct 6. Today PA agree to refund/reship after all their "investigations".

that's too bad
if that happen to me(and hopefully not) i'll accept the refund, there is no way i'm going to wait for another month

Anything you call them before the 6th week is useless anyway, just be patient.
