i just bought a new astro remote control (blue), the volume control max setting is fixed/limited, I can't further raise the volume, unless have to change on the tv control.
its annoying when change to different video mode and the volume suddenly bang you

anyone know how to fix this?

its already like that since the 1st day astro launched...

denon avr has this feature called Dynamic Volume which can auto-adjust speaker sound level

not for us.

we been using astro long time, so we been using the old box long time, till recently it kong out. Technician can't fix it, so gave us new box.

old box use old black remote control, no problem.

new box, we have to buy the new blue remote control, technician told us the one with the cap Astro on top is so called "original", around 30
i bought it from a shop, "original".
now we have this volume problem

is it become big problem for u?not me...maybe because im oni use low volume....hehe!!

its annoying, the max volume by the box can be easily override by other noise.

at present we can up the volume on the tv, but when changed to different video mode like dvd/cd, ppl may suddenly get "shouted" by the unit.

I think most of the latest LCD/Plasma have it's own color and volume control for each AV,TV,HDMI.... As my Sony V is like this.
It's also like my car JVC cd player , Tuner,CD ,Aux have it's own volume level lol...
