got 1 question...i got 6 RCS last time with 3 pregnant females. After keeping them for a while the females gave birth n i was so excited to see so many small shrimplets swimming around the tank. Can't count how many cuz too many!!!But after a while when the shrimplets grow even bigger..the numbers seems to shrink.Everytime during feeding time only can see a small amount of them.i searched all over the tank but failed to find the Xtra shrimplets which supposed to be around 30+ of them.now left like half.Juz wondering what happen or where did the another half went?I don't see any dead shrimp or corpse around.Been a mystery for me...and quite sad that the amount already reduced...anybody can give me the answer?
Thanks |

Only 1 otto for fighting algae..but the otto too shy to show itself...using HOB filter with the intake i wrap up with sponge to avoid any shrimplets being sucked into it.Btw the size of the tank is 1 foot size.

its normal... not all shrimplets manage to grow up... ur tank scape got alot of hiding place (plants) for ur shrimp to hide??... yup my tank got moss,HM,rotala red and green, machandra and also glosso.Even i myself can't find where my otto and adult shrimp hiding inside. The tank nearly packed with plants already. Can ask you guys. How can i fight algae in my shrimp tank?I read about using excell dosing but afraid this method might hurt the shrimp especially in a small tank.Is is still safe to do so? Or Any other way? Thanks |
