dont need co2... then must be MOSSSS...

Oh forgot to ask few questions about co2:
After photoperiod do you guys put airstone or something so there is sufficient oxygen for the fishes and plants?
How do you stop DIY co2? I read if you just stop the flow it will explode...

Also, ben u know it well yourself .. Without co2 'advanced' plants .. Well here's a riddle.. It grows slow but die very fast hehehe... Only plants I would keep without co2 are anubias moss java fern or any fern.. Bolbitis.. And hornwort.. There are several more..

Most of the plants in your list needs co2 to grow well.. Otherwise they'll brown n die off

On 24/7? Then after photoperiod won't there be co2 build up and fauna may die?

1more.. do u guys absorb the fishes' excrement from the top layer of ADA soil ?

ben.. i think better try hairgrass to try on 1st.. because Hairgrass is the easy one... and listen to our Chuppy always...   he has experience enough to guide beginner like us...

I dunno where to find hairgrass oredy wo... The oni place I noe is Pets Wonderland and  88 marine in Pandan Indah. Both hav to wait long time if wanna go...

and guys I nid urgent help on RCS... Just now I seperate my 2pregnant into one container with air pump, some ADA soil and 50%tank water 50%clean water. But some monk put a box on top of the cloth I cover the container then the cloth sink down to water surface... Hours later I check and the RCS are fainting... Legs not moving but still hav strength to hold on to my hand. their thinking vali slow... My main tank I turn off the air pump once I on light. the tank no co2 injection then the males inside that tank oso fainting. I check pH its normal. The others I didnt check bcos dun hav test kit. Now I put all shrimp back in main tank with 2 air pumps running, hoping they will gain more strength. Do u guys think its another cause? The sand from penang beach I soak it many times oredy... I got the sand 3 months ago and hav been soaking it since.

I think its becos of not enough oxygen... There's nothing else wrong. all my fish and ghost shrimp are fine.

If you did things right from day 1, You probably wouldn't need all those test, In fact All my test kits are collecting dust.. I only use them for emergency purposes..
