just trim like moss jer....

I just did bigger than usual trim... I trimmed quite a lot of HM-Pearl grass/weed and elodea sp.... Got about a handful of HM planted most of them and the others planted emersed...

@michanz - where you get HC from? EA Studio midvalley sell rm8 each but very poor quality one...

my tank....HC is not doing good...but after i add fert...NPK and ferropol...i can see new leafs coming out..but because of the unstable CO2 supply by DIY CO2..and insufficient....they are not doing good overall....mereasia also...lol....buy some el-cheapo crypt plant to provide hiding place for my cherries...my main target is the moss....left side is peacock moss..right side is taiwan moss....lol....well..i think the next major rescape will be after next year cny with more lighting and a proper CO2 system.....

i feel paiseh to show actually....i suck in imagining scape..lol

oh yea..i dun have base fert as well....lol....new ADA soil also for next major rescape.....now finding funding

i saw in display tank.the tank that with moss wall.maybe can ask from the boss for some.oh ya and got some also at the back of the shop where they put moss for sale.

Is the main knob turned on or do you turn it off? If its on then it could be leakage. Have you inspect the tubing for any leakage?

somewhere is leaking... fully filled co2 tank pressure reading is around 1000psi... mine after 3 months of using now reads 400psi...
urs below 1 day already drop to 200psi means somewhere is leaking...

i just notice i have green spot algea...bravo...

I'll have GSA over GDA , BBA  and hair algae anyday!

Well, if its definitely leaking.. bring it back to the LFS where you purchased it from. See if can exchange.

Maybe temporary can run DIY co2 until they call u back

Added on January 3, 2010, 2:29 amMy otto done really good job in cleaning brown algae on my glosso leaves . Now i know why some of my friends said otto is a aquascaper best friend hehehe.

But today after i came back from work, one of my ottos is badly injured beaten by something. After carefully observing my tank for about 15min, now i know the otto is beaten by my female apisto....now shes beating the otto to death    . Im wondering why is she become so aggressive ??  I watch her every move for the next 15 min or so. When i move closely to the tank to inspect, she would flare her gills at me through the tank glass. Within a short time, making me quite happy, she actually doing what a good mother will do...protecting her eggs  . What a great day . RIP my dear otto ..

try to see without co2.. how the riccia.. like pearl-less one..

guys, just a suggestion.

can there be a glossary about the normal terms u guys use at the front of the thread.

coz for newbies like me we tend to get confuse.

i thought glosso was a kind of snail and otto was a kind of guppy but i think i'm wrong.

just my 2 cents.
