@bcktang.. what shrimp u wants to keep ? red cherry shrimp or crystal red shrimp ? for beginner i suggest try Red Cherries Shrimp first.. the reason is easier to care.. more hardy.. Suitable for beginner...

if space not a matter for u.. get a larger one.. 2FT.. easy to control the water parameter.. about shrimp sucked into filter.. for shrimp tank.. we suggest u use sponge inlet.. to avoid shrimplet and shrimp sucked into it...

and also better use Hang On Back filter or Canister Filter... u got to plant some MOSS atleast... on your shrimp tank... for them to eat..

@michanz.. how much u bought a 0.5L cylinder ? coming with manual regulator?

just back from jalan pasar.. bought a java fern ( i think )

and opposite of jalan pasar have 2 aquarium.. their service really

80% of the moss turned to brown.. i tied them on wood... and put in my shrimp tank.. hope they still can survive..

after i added more woods.. plants.. moss.. into shrimp tank.. i really hard to see my cherries.. T_T.. i oni saw around 3 shrimps only.. i bought 15... the rest duno died or hidden somewhere.. and i also saw molten body.. dont found dead body..
