I use it regularly, its great when u're talking to someone from oversea, its FREEE and its like SMS.

simple answer is, if u have bbm why not use it? completely free if u subscribed to any BIS

CLICK on MY PROFILE
go to the bottom and CLICK on DISPLAY MY BARCODE

this only works with BBM 5.0, prev versions do not have this Barcode feature
