I'm booking 1.6 EX (Titanium Silver), look like I'm the only 1 book this EX thumbup.gif thumbup.gif Hopefully can get the car soon.

Need to check with your, my SA told me that I need to do the full settlement in order to allocate the car? The condition for full settlement is including loan approval with Original Letter of Undertaking (LU) + surrender my trade in Car + remaining balance. It's true?

They didn't received the Fax copy of LU to proceed for the car allocation. That why I need to get the original LU from banker ASAP??

Like my case, they want FULL settlement (Booking Fee + Loan Approval + Surrendar my Trade In Car + Remaining balance) in order to allocate the car for me. Initially the SA told me they will do the allocation but after check with their branch manager - different story vmad.gif vmad.gif . So, your better confirm this directly with their branch manager.....

Did all of your book from NAZA branch or dealer? Maybe we can mentioned which branch/dealer we book from the owner list.

Why did he ask to get the car from Rawang? Fast delivery? or anythin else??..

I have no idea why taking from Rawang. SA told me either I get the car from Rawang OR provide the approval letter for SA to take the car & deliver to you at their branch. It's same story as other branch/dealer??

Maybe that SA want to save cost and lazy go so far to take that car and want u go urself. haha.

btw IF u get the car plate number now, how long can it keep till it expired? 1 month? 3 months? any reliable source?? thx
*
sorry for misleading, the 1st option is SA will drive me to Rawang for collection.

As per car plate number, it should be valid for 3 months. You may refer below link from JPJ. However, it's down at this moment and you can refer from other link from Kerata Info.

He said, CBU buyers will get 1st.. 1.6 already haf stock can immediate deliver within 4-5 days once loan approve, only 2.0 need to wait abt 4-5 more days to reach showroom.
Later oso same process... alll clear. can collect car liao. He sound very confident la... sales person talk ma.. but dun think he dare to tok big ma..

He also said, if ur loan document is good, 1 day can get the loan approve from bank in Rawang. Morning submit, by 3 or 4 pm can get green light.  3-4 days later can get car ady.
So total is only abt 4-5 days la to get ur FORTE. icon_rolleyes.gif

Guys,

I know that most of you are happy that I got my car early while you are still waiting for yours..BUT, one or two might be envious to the extent of  complaining to your Branch that I got my car early and with DISCOUNTS??? What discount?

FYI, all my good SA is giving me is good service and he negotiated a 40-50% discount deal with Tintmaster for my car! Tint is worth RM2000 so less 40% my discount is RM800 n IF less 50% my discount is RM1000. Now, that's the discount-lah. And, i've not even decided whether to use Tintmaster or not? If you want this discount..I give you-lah if I am not taking it!

So, c'mon..if your SA gives you crap reasons for you not getting your car, please-lah don't give this sort of excuses if you wanna pull out from your booking and get my good SA into trouble! Have you ever put into consideration whether your inconsiderate action might affect others?

p/s: I wonder whether this Forum is for sharing good stuffs and info with fellow Forumers or it'll probably get people into trouble? Guess I might have to keep the tinting discount or whatever future goodies to myself and a few of you trusted brothers (& sister) privately, rather than post it out loud.

I totally agree with Julz concern, this forum should be use as the channel to communicate the info within the member only; rather than use the info. to complain to the branch, it will impact lot of Forte owner like the previous 1K discount case.

Like my case, I keep on follow up what is actually happen for my EX collection rather than compare with other branch/dealer who get the car earlier ... finally i managed to find out this is their NAZA staff key in wrongly with my engine no WTF.. that why need to resubmit all document to get the e-Hakmilik.... vmad.gif vmad.gif

Finally get my car on Friday rclxms.gif rclxms.gif I think I'm the 1 and only 1 getting EX model here.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Due with so many problem getting my car, I keep on follow up with the SA and follow him to JPJ and Naza HQ to get all the document in place; else, I think still need to wait for another week.

I really like this car (although mine is the EX), still very enjoy for this forte when compare to my old WIRA. So, for the first thing I do is install the Alarm system (basic) from Naza authorized accessory shop and it cost me RM490. However, the alarm cannot integrate to our existing Forte Key which I like their key design, that why need to use their alarm remote and leave the original remote at Home.

Also need to inform your guy is my Forte already having 2 defect. So, your better check properly when collect your car:-
1) Left Front turn signal light got water mark but will only can be confirm during next raining day
2) Trunk lid release lever sometime cannot open the boot, that why I ask the alarm installer to integrated the open boot button to the new alarm remote.

Lastly need to thanks to bomberman who introduce me the very good and helpful banker especially when I need to resubmit my e-Hakmilik due with HQ key my engine no wrongly. thumbup.gif

OMG you installed an alarm system? Did you get anything in writing confirming it won't affect your warranty? The Forte uses multiplex wiring. Cannot cut and join. Not being able to integrate with your remote means ... I don't know but you should assess these add-ons after spending so much on your car.
*
Thanks for the info, will double check with them. However, I'm getting the Alarm receipt from Kia Auto Accesories which stated with 2 year warranty and the installation is done in the Naza Service Center.

This Kia Auto Accessories uses the Kia name but are they in any way related to Kia Motors? Hmm!!! Ask if this is approved by Kia Motors R&D. I bet you it's not since they cannot even integrate your key remote.

Are they cutting/splicing any wires? Multiplex means one wire carries more than one signal. Cutting/splicing means the signals will get jumbled up, your car's wiring may go crazy.
That why I ask the NAZA branch manager to introduce me to install the Alarm from them rather than install from outside accessory shop. Anyway, will compile all this question to post to branch mgr.

i got chassis number and engine number... yet i dunno what's causing the ding dong.  doh.gif

You can check your e-Hak Milik from JPJ by provided the chassis number, you can call their hotlink 03 88884244; They will ask you which JPJ branch you register and they will give your the branch phone number (I'm register in JPJ Wangsa Maju 03-40202288). Another thing you can check from your Loan banker to see whether any pending document/procedure for register your car.

My case is the NAZA HQ key the wrong Engine No, that why all the process delay for another week vmad.gif I follow up with SA, Loan Banker to re-submit the e-Hak Milik registration. Once this is register in to JPJ system (by calling their hotlink to check the status), I inform the SA to ask runner to process with my Car Registration certificate + Road Tax. Once this is done (within same day), I personally follow the SA to JPJ to collect my Car Registration certificate + road tax, then go with him to NAZA HQ to submit my Car Registration Certicate in order to get the Collection Letter. Next thing, go to Rawang to collect my car.... sweat.gif

Hope this info. help.
