Any Forte future owner from Kuching? I have paid the 10% down payment and the SA said it will reach Kuching in 2 week times. Mine one is 1.6SX Bright Silver.Waiting for the arrival of my baby.

Mine one near Hui Sing. The sales manager wanted me to pay 10% down payment then can confirm the shipment to Kuching. The RM 1K booking fees didn't guarantee the car. So no choice lor.... If the car doesn't come in December, i will make noise to them everyday

According to SA, 4 Forte will be shipped from West Malaysia on 1st Dec 09. 3 for Kuching and 1 for Miri . Thus can settle everything by mid of Dec09. Anyway, this is just the sales man talking, i don't know how true in actual.

2 months is their promise lor if you pay the RM 1K booking fees. That's what they told me as well, but if you pay the 10% down payment + the color you choose is not that popular, they can get it fast for you. According to the SA that, they are very cautious now due to a previous experience that people requested for the refund of the booking fees at very last minute when the car was already on the way shipped to Kuching. Make them rugi a lot.Thus,now they want to make sure that the buyer will not change their mind then they will speed up the shipment.

Not so fast lah, according to the sales manager, the car will only be shipped on 7th Dec, only will get mid of Dec. I hv checked the E-milik, I hv been allocated an engine chasis no. So very sure can get the car. What color u get? Got ur bank loan done? RHB give good deal

Have you tested drive the car? There is one test drive car downstair with Metal Bronze color (I don;t know is it the car you refer to)

Just went to see & "test drive" my Forte around the Naza company . Feel so siok!!! The baby has arrived. Currently pending for the registration car plate number then I can drive it on the road. Hopefully can settle everything by end of next week. Hooray!!!

Mine one just shipped from Klang and reached Kuching today. The 2 units in the showrroom still there:) 3 cars have been shipped to Kuching today. Want to know who are the other 2 buddies in Kuching

Ya lah...no choice, you are getting the popular colour. During the time that I booked, the Clear White already not available and have to wait for at least 2 months accordring to SA. Thus, I took bright silver as can get the car faster.

Hmmm...so, next time when you are around Tabuan Jaya, BDC and Jalan Song area, you can check out any Bright Silver Forte nearby. Hahahaha...
Anyway, will only get my car at least next week as I am waiting for the car plate number for QAS xxxx, current number is QAR 9xxx. SA told me QAS will only open for tender next week.

The SA put my car in the show room while waiting for the car plate registration settled next week. Hopefully they lock the car door, so that the people will not slam my car door when sit in and view my car

Paiseh....I am in Kuching not KL....I have asked the SA to lock my car door. So no sit in the car and slam the door. May be can hire a body guard to stand beside the car

Just got my car plate number todqay. Have settled all the paper work with my SA, hopefully to get my Bright Silver baby tomorrow.
Tonight may be too excited to sleep
Should be one of the 3 FORTE pioneers on the Kuching road.

You go and tekan your SA lah...then may be we can form a Forte team in Kuching just like other brothers in Klang Valley

Congrats bro!!! My Bright Silver baby still lying in the showroom (for 1 week liao). I have settled all my paper work already including getting the car plate no., loan approval, paied off the downpayment and etc , but the SA kept telling me that still pending for custom to settle the AP stuff. I am so pissed off with their answer

Any brother here experienc such a long waiting time to settle all the custom document?

Finally manage to get my baby get touch on Kuching road today aound 6pm today. Drive the wife around Kuching area. Pump up full tank for RON97 at Shell, cost me RM88.50. Will start tracking the fuel consumption.
Magpan, heard from my SA tat 4 Forte will reach Kuching next week, yours one of it?
